Full course description
This course prepares school employees to proactively recognize, prevent, and appropriately respond to boundary-crossing behaviors between school employees and students. Participants will learn to identify early warning signs, practice intervention language, and understand their critical role in protecting students and colleagues from harm. Grounded in current research, ethical principles, and legal responsibilities, and based on decades of work by subject matter expert Dr. Charol Shakeshaft, this self-paced course equips school employees with essential tools and strategies to foster safe and professional learning environments.
