Innovation in Education: A Primer

Earners of this badge have the knowledge, awareness, and practical insights needed to embrace innovation in schools and in education more broadly, and to navigate the challenges they may encounter along the way. They have a clear understanding of what innovation in education entails and why it is essential for addressing the needs of 21st-century learners and preparing students for the future. Earners have the ability to recognize common barriers to innovation in education, and can identify various innovative concepts and approaches in education.  

This badge can be earned on its own, and is also part of a micro-credential offered in partnership between the VCU Department of Educational Leadership and the da Vince Center at VCU.
